Caring for Gold

Gold is considered to be the most precious of noble metals. It owes its name to the Latin word "aurum" that means "shiny dawn", in honor to Aurora, the goddess of dawn in ancient Rome, who announced every day the arrival of her brother Helios, the Sun.

To ensure that they always sparkle just like on the first day, we recommend that you carefully clean your gold jewels with a soft cloth. If you wish your gold jewels to get a professional polish, kindly send your Bracelet to our After Sales Service together with the properly completed Intervention Form.

Once we receive your jewel, our master craftsmen will issue a meticulous diagnosis and assessment of your jewel. You will receive a detailed intervention estimate as soon as possible.

Caring for Diamonds

Carbon, exposed during thousands of years to great pressures and high temperatures, crystallizes and turns into the most spectacular of gems. A diamond, from the Greek "adamas" -invincible-, stands out for its amazing hardness and its great capacity to reflect light.

Our goldsmiths only select diamonds that are in compliance with a strict quality control. For cleaning them, use a soft brush. Avoid using soaps or metal polish, since those may alter the color of your cords.

Caring for Invisible Setting

The skill of creating a setting that is not visible to the naked eye requires a high level of mastery and craftmanship due to its great complexity. The result is spectacular, as you cannot visualize any metal between the stones, it gives you the impression that the stones are being held as if by magic. As an invisible setting is specially delicate, it is traditionally reserved for increasing the beauty of high-end jewelry creations, which are going to be worne with exquisite gentleness and require the most careful handling. We recommend that you take extreme care and refrain from any activity that may expose your bracelet to any kind of blow or vibration, as this may seriously jeopardize the integrity of the invisible setting.

Caring for Precious Gemstones

Rubis, Sapphires, Tsavorites, … Their intense and bright colors have always been a mystery of nature. Beyond the meaning that different cultures have given to these amazingly pretty gems, Me&MyLife only selects those that have successfully gone through a strict control for beauty and quality. For cleaning them, use a soft brush. Avoid using soaps or metal polish, as those may stain the cords.

Caring for Cords

The Threads of our Life Glam edition Bracelets are elegantly braided with high tech Nylon fibres, which provides an extraordinary resistance and durability.

We recommend avoiding, whenever possible, any exposure to water, particularly sea water. If your threads need cleaning, use a gentle, biodegradable detergent, although this will depend on the kind of stain.

With the passing of time, you may notice an alteration in the color of your thread, which will occur earlier if the threads have been exposed to such agents as perspiration, perfumes, creams, sunlight, cleaning products, etc… When the time comes, you can get your thread replaced, if you wish.

The duration of your threads will depend on the conditions, the number of times you wear it and the environment it is used in. Bear in mind that Me&MyLife cannot warrant for the integrity of a bracelet if the thread is not an original or was manipulated by unqualified staff that is not at the service of our brand. For this reason, if you wish to get your thread replaced, do not hesitate to send your bracelet to our After Sales Service, together with a properly completed Intervention Form.

Once we receive your bracelet, our master craftsmen will issue a meticulous diagnosis and assessment of your bracelet. You will receive a detailed intervention estimate as soon as possible.
